The President's Society

The President's Society recognizes generous donors who give annually at the level of $2,500 or more in one fiscal year. President's Society members support student scholarships, academic programs, faculty research, and athletic and cultural endeavors.

The University of Oregon is grateful to have a base of committed supporters who provide leadership in their giving, and we thank them through membership in this recognition society.

Why give at the President's Society level?

The University of Oregon has a strong tradition of private support. As a public university whose state support has dropped dramatically, the University of Oregon would not be the remarkable place it is today without alumni and friends stepping up to fill the gap.

Giving at a President's Society level helps the university to meet pressing current needs. President's Society gifts help departments and programs close gaps in their budgets, provide scholarships to deserving students, and enable first rate athletic and cultural programs.

You will join a distinguished circle of alumni and friends who are active in shaping the future of the University of Oregon. As such, you will be invited to private invitation-only events held across the country featuring university leaders. You will also receive exclusive communications from the President's office to keep you abreast of university news and events, access to our special President's Society-only website where you will be able to communicate with the President and request special concierge services from President's Society staff, and an annual President's Society recognition item as our way of saying thanks.
